Appointed as the Executive Producer of the inaugural APAM in Brisbane, Jane led the cultural shift for Australia and the region’s largest arts market after 12 years in Adelaide. With the largest delegation in its history, as well as the first time APAM was spread over the city in multiple venues, APAM 2014 offered delegates a unique experience of Brisbane as a cultured destination whilst showcasing the best of Australia’s small to medium performing arts companies and artists.

Engaged as an arts strategy consultant, Jane worked alongside the Festival Creative Producer, researching an audience development plan and undertaking first stage research for the inaugural Garrmalang Festival. The Festival consolidated relationships with the local community and the Larrakia Nation, providing employment pathways and opportunities for the sale of local art, whilst creating a legacy for the community, audience and artists. Jane’s work assisted in creating a solid foundation on which the Festival can achieve its goals and objectives.

Connecting international and local Balinese artists we will hopefully see some new collaborations, new work and of course some new awareness about Denpasar and its community.
